Group tools and accessories and book them together

Tool sets allow you to pack related tools and accessories in groups. These sets can be captured more quickly in the booking process and show dependencies between tools during the borrowing.

Open the tool detail view of the parent tool / picking and navigate to the tool set tab. Here you can choose from three types of tool sets using the drop-down menu.

Set types

order picking set

Tools are grouped by picking. Tools in this group cannot be booked individually. Booking is only possible via the main tool and then includes all subordinate tools.

fixed set

Tools are grouped by a higher-level tool. Tools in this group cannot be booked individually. Booking is only possible via the higher-level tool and then includes all lower-level tools.

variable set

Tools a grouped by a higher-level tool. Tools in this group can be booked individually. Booking via the higher-level tool is possible and then includes all subordinate tools.

In the next step, open the tool detail view of the higher-level tool / picking again and there the tool set tab. In the list of all tools that is now displayed, you define the tools belonging to the set by ticking the selection boxes. Note that only tools that are not already part of a tool set are displayed. Finally, confirm your selection with the save button.

Practical note: In the tool table view, tools that are part of a tool set are marked with a symbol in the T column. This column can be filtered on abbreviations for tool sets.
