  • How do NFC phones/smartphones work?

    NFC enabled smartphones and cell phones have an active NFC transmitter. This active NFC transmitter generates an electromagnetic field. If an NFC tag arrives in this field, the chip is activated via the antenna and sends its information to the mobile phone / smartphone. The mobile / smartphone contains two components to the NFC chipset and the NFC antenna. The NFC chipset provides the smartphone with NFC capability via an interface.   • Why can't I capture the tags?

    Make sure your smartphone's NFC feature is turned on. Depending on the device used, the antenna area is placed differently (on iPhones, for example, at the top edge). If necessary, reduce the distance between the smartphone and its antenna area over the tag to less than 1 cm.
