After a break due to the pandemic, ZVTOOL, a variant of UnTouch, was successfully presented at the WVG GmbH booth at the SHK Essen. Numerous visitors from trade and industry informed themselves about the possibilities of digital tool management. Also represented at the stand was Mr. Jürgen Küppers, who was able to give interested parties practical tips from everyday trades. A highlight was the visit to the stand by construction girls and influencer Sandra Hunke.
Manage tools and equipment digitally
Digital tools ensure that work processes are designed efficiently and support the craftsman. Everyone involved can benefit from using ZVTOOL. In order to be able to process orders quickly and professionally, the right tool is of great importance in the trade. Rising prices and an interruption in the supply chain meanwhile often lead to bottlenecks in operating resources as well. One more reason to be careful with the tools you have.
Tradition is not mandatory
While some companies have so far completely neglected the topic of tool management, others mostly use Excel spreadsheets, handwritten output lists or tool brands. The information stored is usually only available in one place and is not easy to search through. ZVTOOL, on the other hand, is cloud-based. Without installing any software, all authorized users can use a web browser to view the tool bookings made with the smartphone and determine the location of the tool.
Reservations are not only made in the restaurant
Resource planning on the construction site not only includes the right employees, but also the right tools. Expensive tools or measuring devices are often only available once in the company. With ZVTOOL you reserve the tool for the planned start date and issue a loan lock for the device before the date. Optionally, you can have the reservation sent to you by e-mail and enter it in your calendar as an ICS file. If an attempt is made to issue the tool despite the reservation, the borrower will be informed of this.
Maintenance makes the difference
In order to ensure the long-term usability of a tool, it must be serviced and checked regularly. In addition, the statutory inspection periods and the manufacturer's maintenance intervals must be observed. ZVTOOL supports you here with the recording of the maintenance intervals, a reminder of the maintenance dates and the documentation of the results.
